Hello, I blocked my card to stop a hidden payment from JM date... am I at risk of legal action from them? Because I lost my identifiers and couldn't cancel with them. Has anyone ever opposed and had any problems afterward? Thank you.

Normally, there is no prosecution if an opposition is made in such a case ("subscription fraud"); it's the quickest and least expensive method in my opinion...

      Hello,

The site apparently, I don't frequent it, only wraps less apparent conditions in its T&Cs; it's not very clean but not illegal, the consumer is supposed to read everything (this is also the case, for example, with Amazon's Prime).

Therefore, there is no fraud and no legal basis for an opposition that the banker may refuse for that reason.

Now, in case of an opposition, the site may perhaps push back and threaten, including through collection agencies or bailiffs, who are then in a process that remains solely amicable, which should not be confused with legal proceedings that would only have an effect if carried out through judicial means, which seem unlikely given the costs involved.

        Hello,

Alright, but I was actually responding to Jean 9904 who said

"I lost my identifiers and couldn't cancel with them."

Otherwise, the Rights/Finance link provided indicates the "amicable" procedure:

"To unsubscribe, you will need to be attentive.

The principle is to go to your account or profile depending on the site. Search through all the links until you find the one that leads to unsubscribing. Sometimes it’s in a section as quirky as "settings." Once found, you will need to fill out their form by checking the reasons for unsubscribing (put anything you want, we don’t care)... Then you confirm.

A page will then appear encouraging you not to unsubscribe with an offer... You continue the unsubscription by clicking on the link provided for that purpose.

Then another page appears asking if you are sure because you might miss out on all the benefits... You click again on the unsubscribe link under the tempting graphics... And voila, you receive a message saying that you are unsubscribed (phew!!!) and a confirmation email.
        "

        the link https://www.signal-arnaques.com/scam/view/616505

is more explicit, with screenshots and all that...
