Thomson 65UD6336 black screen
Jo -
Hello.
I have a Thomson 65UD6336 that has a problem. The television is only two and a half years old (2-year warranty not applicable) but I would still like to try to repair the equipment.
Basically, the screen "turns on" (power supply etc. is okay) but I see that it remains under a relief of blacks. Let me explain, at startup, I can see the THOMSON in black on a black background if I look from the side, and once connected to the box, I can also see the menu etc., but all in shades of black on black... as if there is no color. I think it might not be too difficult to repair, but I'm relying on you.
I have opened the back cover but I'm stuck on which component to check, and how...
Or if it's a board that needs to be replaced, but which one? I have one on the power supply in yellow, a green one where I have the HDMI, sound connections, etc., and a very small one that connects what I think is the screen...
Thank you in advance, I hope to be able to save it!
Michel.

Hello Shinoda30,
I think it's an LCD TV, right?
And considering what you're saying, I also think that the backlight of your screen is "dead" or inactive.
At home, there’s nothing you can do except have it repaired by a technician!
Best regards!
This problem is the same as mine. The issue isn't the board; I even bought a new power board but the same problem occurred after testing it and noticing that the backlighting needs to be changed.
I keep mine at home until I get new backlighting.
Same television and same size TCL 65ud6336.
