How to recover my deleted msg.db.crypt files

I accidentally deleted all my files from the WhatsApp database on my Android phone.

How can I recover them?

Do I need to root my phone for that?

I don't have a local backup.

Hello
Rooter has nothing to do with the data on a phone. If you erased it without a backup, it's lost.
You can try data recovery apps for mobile, just like for PCs, but nothing is guaranteed.

Thank you. I thought that by doing the research on a rooted phone, I would have a better chance of recovering the deleted data.
