Hello,

I'm using an Xbox Series X connected via HDMI 2.1 to a 4k PC monitor.

Currently, I have 2 speakers and a subwoofer connected via a Jack plug to the PC monitor, and I would like to add a Dolby Atmos soundbar if possible, but the issue is I notice that most of them require either HDMI ARC or optical, and my PC monitor only has HDMI 2.1.

It's worth mentioning that the new consoles unfortunately no longer have an optical port.

Is there a solution please?

At Amazon, there is a plethora of models; I have given you an example. If the HDMI 2.1 model suits you better, no problem.

As for soundbars... it's a matter of taste...

The Stage 360 offers two HDMI inputs and one HDMI output, which would have eliminated the need for a sound extractor... but it's HDMI 2.0. Maximum power 240W.

The Katana has no HDMI input other than an ARC, but it's 2.1 and can be used as a USB stick reader. However, in your usage, the HDMI part is not useful (unless watching videos recorded on a USB stick). Maximum power 180W. Additionally, it has a lighting system.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

Good evening, thank you, but it's not going to work because it's in a maximum of 30fps; I need it in 4k with 60fps or 120.

Another option is the HDMI to Optical extractor

Not towards optical because neither my screen nor the Xbox Series X has optical, precisely.

You didn't look closely... there is an HDMI input where you connect your Xbox, an HDMI output to connect your screen... and finally an optical audio output to connect to your future soundbar.

Thank you for your help because I admit that I am completely lost with all these systems.

The more expensive one supports HDMI 2.1, so it's perfect for my Xbox Series X? Because there are two models you suggest in your link.

Last question, do you think it's better for me to get the Creative Stage 360 with Dolby Atmos

or the Creative Sound Blaster Katana V2X?

Hello baladur13, I'm back with the news.

I took the Stage 360 in Dolby Atmos with an HDMI connection in 2.0, too bad for the 2.1.

And the sound is amazing, I just received and set it up.

And thanks again for helping me because you were the only one who took the time to assist me.

Here is my little setup.
