Solved

Hello,

I have a Galaxy A70. How can I extend the ringtone duration to delay the moment when the device switches (or does not switch) to voicemail?

Thank you in advance

    Hello,

As far as I know, the voicemail system (and therefore the settings for the rings before it's activated) is with the operator. I don't think it can be adjusted, but it's better to wait for other responses.

    Hello,

Just ask the question on Google.

    Here’s what you can find:
    https://fr.wikihow.com/changer-le-nombre-de-sonneries-sur-un-Samsung-Galaxy

It should be noted that you cannot exceed a ringtone duration of 30 seconds.

What is well understood is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.

      Hello,

In fact, it's not really the duration of the ringtone that we modify (it cannot, as noted, exceed 30 seconds) but the frequency of the ringtones within that range: the longer the chosen ringtone, the less frequently it repeats, and vice versa. To my knowledge, that's the only parameter on the phone itself.

The specific numbers entered on the keypad to modify the duration (within the 30 seconds) do not depend on the phone model but on the operator, so they are not "guaranteed" according to a particular operator. If we cannot find the "recipe" regarding our operator or if it does not work, we need to address that issue with them.

    Hello Pierr10,

I note this tutorial, quite useful indeed. Thank you.

    Hello and thank you all,

Unfortunately, I tested both methods proposed to extend it to 30 seconds, but my phone cuts off the ringtone after 20 seconds as before. Maybe another method?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

      Hello,

      What is your operator?

    Hello and thank you,

It's Swisscom and the messaging service is called Bluewin.

In the meantime, I tested two other codes (including the one from Mobilus) but without any success.

    Sincerely

    touche_a_tout

P.S. The simplest thing might be to contact Swisscom? I'll try.

    Thank you Brucine,

The problem has been resolved with my operator. He offers up to 60 seconds.

    Best regards
