I own an Olympus Superzoom 110 film camera and the lens shutter is stuck and won't close. How can I unlock it?

Is it the cover located at the top of the lens that separates into two when the device is turned on?

If that's the case, it is possible that one of the parts that opens this cover is broken. Unfortunately, no repair is possible for this type of device. The only option might be to remove those 2 flaps that serve no other purpose than to protect the front lens of the lens when it is at rest. If you manage to remove them, you will then have the possibility to buy a standard lens cap to place on the front lens when the device is not in use.
