My grandson is trying to send me an invitation via messenger kids, but I either don't receive it or I do receive it, and when I accept it, it sends an error to the parents who can't authorize it?

I deleted the app, reinstalled it, called and got an update /Apple I don't know what else to do and neither do the parents. Yet the invitations he sent to other friends work? I also can't find him on my friends list since we are not friends yet, and I also can't reach him on Facebook as he doesn't have a Facebook account, I don’t know where to look anymore.
