Unable to upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11

Hello,
I am looking to upgrade to Windows 11.
On the Windows site, I downloaded the file "windows11InstallationAssistant.exe", but when I run it, I get the following message: "required file not found. Please check that you have permission to write in the installation folder."
Can you please assist me with this issue?
Thank you in advance for your support.

To update, use the tool to download a Windows ISO file.
Beforehand, you can check Windows 11 compatibility with WhyNotWin11 to see if there's a setting to correct.
https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/releases
For the Windows 11 ISO https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11
Once the ISO file is downloaded, open it with 7-Zip and extract everything into a folder anywhere except directly on C:\
https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
Click on the setup.exe file that is in the extracted folder.
Try the troubleshooter utility, and you can also try disabling and then re-enabling WU with StopUpdates10 and restart Windows.

Try WU again.
OK, thanks.
I'm diving in. I'll keep you updated on how it goes.
But on your first link, it starts off quite poorly at the very first point :-) : "1, Download SupportedProcessors<name>.txt".
Am I downloading "WhyNotWin11.exe" from the link at the bottom of the page?
Thanks
Tonio
Well, I've downloaded WhyNotWin11.exe and ran it. Everything is green, with the message "your PC is ready to receive Windows 11".
That's a good start.
I ran setup.exe, it's currently at "searching for updates" (46%). To be continued.
