Fiber installation, where will my Freebox be with a DTI?

Hello everyone,

I would like to install fiber in my home, but given the existing electrical and network setup, I have some questions.

I have a DTI TEST socket in RJ45 in my electrical panel that distributes the network throughout the rooms of the house.

I know that for FIBER, a DTIO will be installed, with the telecom provider bringing the cabling directly into my electrical panel through a conduit.

I don't have any conduits that can bring the fiber elsewhere in the house.

Will the Freebox need to be connected directly to the panel?

I might be able to print a 3D bracket for the box on the wall next to the panel.

I admit that I'm quite worried that the installation might be impossible; my home is eligible, and the technician is scheduled to come in a month.

    The important question is how the patch panel connections are wired on the distribution box side and also on the outlet side in the rooms.

    It is necessary to check...
    In order to distribute via Ethernet, all 8 wires of the cables must be connected and not just 2, which would indicate wiring done only to distribute telephone signals.

    Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it's not there...

      The wiring is visible in the photo, you can see the DTI then connecting higher up, these cables then go into the rooms.

        I dare hope for you that indeed the 8 wires have been correctly wired, and that it is enough to remove the 4 telephone cords between the patch panel and the DTI to connect the 4 outputs of the router with RJ45 patch cords to distribute internet access in the 4 rooms of your home.

    The pop takes up much less space than the revolution or the Delta.

    After that, you also need a power supply.
