Hello,

I installed the Material Freebox OS extension on Firefox and Google Chrome.

Redesign of the Freebox OS interface Enhance the design of Freebox OS with Material Freebox OS! Install the extension then access Freebox OS as usual, and enjoy a sleek and completely revamped design.

Insecure connection in the URL lock icon:

Access denied:

I found a random trick to log in with my username mafreebox.freebox.fr.

Weird that this lock icon has a strike through it because normally without the extension (different design) I log in without any issue.

Of course, there is no HTTPS after the lock icon:

    Hello,

Application, last update March 7, 2018. And on the support page, it is indicated that features that have appeared since are not present. I no longer remember when https was added on FreeOS.

Edit: Access to FreeOS is still via http, so it’s probably the browser that is blocking access.

    Hello jee pee,

The URL of mafreebox.freebox.fr. is indeed in http

But as I mentioned, that doesn't prevent you from connecting.

It's then that the extension Material Freebox OS is added.

And it becomes problematic at that point.

There is indeed a project on this extension on github, but you don't learn anything new there.

Practical tip for Material Freebox OS:

To get the box or dialog to type, here's the simple trick to do:

Press 2 times on the Enter key on the keyboard.

And magic happens, indeed, the dialog box appears, all that's left is to type the password Freebox OS

Well, not quite in my case, because I have a password manager that does it for me:

It's still not normal for the site to be in http

That's why the extension doesn't work (except for the trick found).

Nowadays, for over a year, all sites should have switched to https (The site administrators should have done it).
