Hello everyone,

I am creating a small video tutorial with Shotcut, and at one point in the video, I want to blur an area of my video capture.

I would like to blur the part between the red arrows.

Thank you!

Hello, the YouTube tutorial will help you. You need to go to the filter tab and it’s the Gaussian effect.

Thanks for the link, I'll try to see if I can find what I'm looking for!

    Another question:

In the timeline, is there a keyboard shortcut to bring the playback cursor back to zero?

Hello, I don't use this software but I recommend it for beginners as a free option.

I don't have any shortcuts on my software, so you probably don’t either. Click the left button on the cursor and drag it, and also look at the signs under the viewer to go to zero, skip a scene, or move forward.

I know the principle of clicking and dragging with the cursor, but it's not the most practical!

I thought there was a quicker way to do this...

Thank you and have a good evening!

Hello, I checked a tutorial where the presenter clicks anywhere and the cursor moves to the click location.

    Have a good continuation.
