Hello, to fill a schedule, I would like to type the words FRENCH and ENGLISH in the same cell separated by a diagonal. If I click on border and select diagonal border, my cell is correctly divided in two, but the two words are either above or below the diagonal. Do you have a solution to propose? Thank you in advance and best regards.

For those who want to have fun:

    *Drawing Toolbar
    _Select the cell to fill
_Select AutoShape / Basic Shape / Right Triangle
_Draw the triangle in the cell while holding the alt key to fit it to the cell (thanks m@rina)

*Select the drawn shape, green handle, 1/2 turn in the cell

*Repeat the same initial operation to create a lower triangle

    *Check the type of shapes:
_/Right-click on the shape / Properties / Move and size with cells

    *Select right-click: add text
    _Write in the shape.

*Advantage for a presentation: the two areas can be of different colors:
    Right-click on the shape / Format / ... / Fill and Line

    Have fun

      Hello,

Why do you use 2 triangles?
Flipping a triangle makes the text upside down, doesn’t it?

      Hello everyone!

You're right gaelpog1, when you take two triangles and flip one to make a triangle, the text is written backwards ;-)
Another solution: in both triangles, instead of "Add text", you can "create a text box" :-)
