OneNote Notebook Sharing and Ownership

Hello,
I'm wondering how the OneNote notebook sharing works. I'm working with an intern and asked her to create a notebook and transfer the contents of a Word document into it.
However, she created the notebook from her personal account; if she shares it with me, I will be able to make changes, but what will happen if she deletes the notebook from her account? Will I lose all access? Will I only have a local copy? If so, will this copy be editable?
I believe the solution would be for me to create a new notebook from my own account and share it with her so she can add the content; is that the best way to proceed?
Thank you for your help!

Hello
The notebook belongs to her and she shares it via her OneDrive space, so yes if she deletes the file or the access, you will no longer have access to it. That's normal.
However, IF she comes to work 'on site', she could "move" it for example to a company server, or make a local copy and transfer it to you via a USB drive if it's allowed by the company's security.
Best regards

Thank you for the quick and accurate response!
Once the local copy is saved, I assume I will be able to modify it as I wish (add pages, sections, change the content, etc.)?
