Hello,
Since the interested party is not providing any details about what exactly they want, I will make a suggestion.
By hovering the mouse over text, we can obtain a tooltip. For example, a tooltip appears when hovering over an email address.
If, in Tools > Options > OpenOffice (or LibreOffice) Security > Options > ctrl+click is activated, the tooltip will indicate "click while pressing ctrl...")
If, in Tools > Options > OpenOffice (or LibreOffice) Security > Options > ctrl+click is deactivated, the tooltip will indicate "mailto + the email address" without the possibility of changing the text.An email address can also be referenced by text in a hyperlink, and in this case, the tooltip will indicate the email address (always with ctrl+click deactivated).
Another option is to select the text we want to define, launch Insert > Fields > Other > References tab > Define a reference > Enter the "definition" then click on insert.

Tooltips are always enabled and provide the name of the toolbar buttons. To display a tooltip, hover the mouse pointer over a toolbar button until its name appears.
Tooltips also appear on certain elements in a document, notably for chapter names when scrolling through a long document.
Balloon tips provide a brief description of buttons and commands. To display a balloon tip, press Shift+F1 and point to a button or command.
Tip IconIf you want to display balloon tips instead of tooltips, enable them in Tools > Options - OpenOffice - General.
If your question goes beyond these functions, please be more specific.
