Hello, the HAIER LDF 40V80 TV suddenly turned off but the sound works. After a few minutes I switch it back on and it works for 10 minutes and then it happens again, screen goes black but the sound works. My question is, could the power supply module be the cause? Regards

Hello, Thank you for your suggestions, the TV is connected to a satellite receiver via HDMI cable. The receiver works perfectly, I tested it on another TV, no cuts. The HAIER receiver works well but the image cuts out while the sound remains. I turn everything off and turn it back on a few minutes later, it starts again for about ten minutes and then the image disappears again but the sound is still present, and the cuts are getting closer together; I suspect a capacitor is nearing the end of its life. Before touching anything electronic, I will open the back panel and use a blower as dust accumulates and cannot escape on its own; this TV is 6 years old. I will keep you updated on my investigations as this may help others. Have a good day.

Is it a direct reception from the antenna..?? or via the internet coming from a decoder connected by HDMI..?? The video could experience interruptions at this point..?? even if the sound continues.
Why "the power supply board"..?? what clue makes you say that..??
How old is this TV..?? there might still be a warranty, some are for three years, check the receipt.
Because we also need to consider a fault in the screen..??
