Thunderbird how to permanently delete compacting

Hello to all "C C M" MEMBERS,

I use the program "Thunderbird" for managing my email addresses.

.

However, since the second to last update, every time I launch Thunderbird, I receive a message on the screen asking me to: "compact the folders".

.

.

.

For your information, I absolutely do not want to compact them even if it means saving 208 Mb.

.

Once again "A+ and full speed ahead" for all the great solutions thanks to C C M, which I continue to promote through emails sent to countries where the national language is French.

    Hello ...

    I suggest you click on the Tools tab in Thunderbird ► Settings (do not confuse with account settings) ► General ► Scroll down to the Disk Space line ► Uncheck the 2 boxes concerned...
