Arcom/Hadopi Warnings

Hello, I just received my second Arcom/Hadopi warning (I didn't receive the email for the first one, so I couldn't react in time). Since I changed my internet service provider since the infraction was noted (and therefore changed my IP address), I wanted to know if this reset my warnings to zero (and so if I get caught again, it would be a first warning and not the third) or if my infractions would be linked because they come from the same postal address?

Since there are some good series available right now, it would save me from having to use a VPN.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

    Hello,

    The warnings are never reset.

It's neither the IP address nor the postal address that is taken into account, it's the identity of the internet subscription holder. So it could be you if you live alone, just as it could be one of your parents if you live with your parents.

Oh okay, thanks. Well, I'm going to use a VPN to avoid problems then ^^

What do you mean? A VPN (I would have been tempted by CyberGhost) does not protect against Arcom warnings? Because I really don't want to get caught a third time, since it's the "fine" and/or "line cut" stage, I believe.

To avoid getting caught, you shouldn't do illegal things.
