Hello,

Message in Opera and Microsoft Edge.

Windows 10, 64 bits. 6.00 GB, 5.80 usable

Scanned with ADWCleaner, Malwarebytes, Windows Security, RogueKiller, no threats found.

Uninstalled the browsers and reinstalled them again.

Checked with Windows Diagnostic and found no memory issues.

Defragmentation is done automatically by Windows.

Previously, I could open 4 to 5 tabs in a browser without any problems, images on Facebook appear disproportionate.

Please, what should I do?

Hello,

To reduce the number of programs consuming RAM:

You can download Autoruns 13.98 here, (This is the latest version that works well) extract everything, and run it as an administrator.

Take your time, look at all the details, do some research.

In the "Logon" and "Scheduled Tasks" tabs, you can disable or remove third-party items from the automatic startup that are not Microsoft or Windows (Important) either by unchecking them or by right-clicking > Delete.

Check the "Services" tab, but do not disable them if they can be useful sometimes; it's better to set them to "Manual" mode (to start on demand) using services.msc from Windows, by right-clicking on the Start button > Run: services.msc

The changes will take effect upon restarting Windows.

Hello, I downloaded it and opened it but nothing happened. I'm not an expert in this.

Thanks anyway.

You need to run Autoruns64 (On 64-bit systems) as an administrator by right-clicking

Or Autoruns for 32-bit systems

Or Autoruns64.exe (If file extensions for known types are displayed (As it should be by default) under View > Options > View...

Or Autoruns.exe ...

It is because at some point, programs or drivers were installed, adding items to the automatic startup (hence the name Autoruns), and these items consume RAM and CPU unnecessarily.

It can be said that it is somewhat normal for multiple open browser tabs to consume resources, but we can look further to see if other processes consume less or are inactive for no reason *

As we want to do with the Autoruns procedure mentioned above.

Do you see Autoruns.exe and Autoruns64.exe?

You extract it (into a new folder)
