Hello, In programs and programs (x86) we find roughly the same thing with a few exceptions. Can we delete what seems to be duplicated? My C drive is full. Thank you in advance for your ideas.

    Hello,

    Explanations HERE.

    Do not delete anything.
    I advise you to post a new message regarding the saturation of your C drive, providing details about your configuration.

    What is well conceived is clearly stated,
    And the words to say it come easily.

    Hello.

    In Program Files (x86) are the 32-bit programs and in Program Files are the 64-bit programs, so don't delete anything, if you want to make some space try the following:

    If your system drive (C:/) has little free space, you can free up space by deleting temporary files with FRST.

    Warning!

    The following folders will be emptied:

    - Windows temporary files.
    - User temporary folders.
    - Caches, HTML5 storage areas, cookies, and history for the browsers analyzed by FRST (IE, Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Yandex Browser) except for Firefox clones.
    - Cache of recently opened files.
    - Flash Player cache.
    - Java cache.
    - Steam HTML cache.
    - Thumbnail and icon cache of Explorer.
    - BITS transfer queue (files qmgr.db and qmgr*.dat)
    - Recycle Bin.

    Here's how to do it:
    Download FRST https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/securite/10729-frst-farbar-recovery-scan-tool-64-bits/ and save it to the desktop.

    Procedure for deleting temporary files:
    Note: a restore point is created.

    1- Open FRST as an administrator, right-click on FRST and choose run as administrator
    2 - Copy the entire script that is in the box below:

      Start:: CreateRestorePoint: CloseProcesses: EmptyTemp: End::

    3- Once the script is copied, click on Fix, FRST will automatically take the script from the clipboard.

    Allow the fix to complete, once it’s done, you will be prompted to restart the PC, see below:

    Once the computer has restarted:
    4- there will be a file Fixlog on the desktop indicating the amount of data deleted.
    Example report:

    =========== EmptyTemp: ==========

    FlushDNS => completed
    BITS transfer queue => 1572864 B
    DOMStore, IE Recovery, AppCache, Feeds Cache, Thumbcache, IconCache => 135944686 B
    Java, Discord, Steam htmlcache => 1362850473 B
    Windows/system/drivers => 59745507 B
    Edge => 666112 B
    Chrome => 370202837 B
    Firefox => 2101461192 B
    Opera => 0 B

    Temp, IE cache, history, cookies, recent:
    Default => 0 B
    ProgramData => 0 B
    Public => 0 B
    systemprofile => 0 B
    systemprofile32 => 0 B
    LocalService => 0 B
    NetworkService => 45222726 B
    juven => 40331130338 B

    RecycleBin => 122254 B

    EmptyTemp: => 41.4 GB of temporary data deleted.

    Hello,

    No, bad idea, do not make manual changes in these folders unless you are really sure of what you're doing.

    To free up space in these folders, check the list of installed programs via the Control Panel / Windows settings and uninstall those you don't use (if you don't know what a software does, refrain from uninstalling it).

    You can also use this type of software to see what is taking up space on your disk:

    A run with Windows Disk Cleanup (as admin) can also free up a few GB:
