Meaning of draft

Hello,
In Free's messaging system, there is a folder called <draft>. Can you tell me what this means in relation to the folder named <Sent mail>?

    Hello,
    The draft folder is a draft file. It's somewhat of a file that allows you to create an email and then come back to it later before sending it.

      Thank you for your reply, but what is the definition of the word "closed"? Is access available in a closed circuit from the mailbox and nothing else, or is it a category of the mailbox?
      Or is it the NBA draft?

      I had been wondering about that for a while, thank you! But then, why doesn't the draft disappear once the email is sent? We no longer need it since we can find it in the Outbox if we want to revisit it...
