Hello Everyone!

I'm having a problem with my W11 laptop. During startup, which is difficult, the following message appears on the screen:

There is a problem starting NVCPL.DLL. Not a valid application.

I located this application in Windows/Sys32 and it's unknown in Windows\SysWOW64\, even in hidden folders.

When the problem occurred, I hadn't done anything particular beforehand. At the same time, the icons for OpenOffice, a software, Opera, Ccleaner, and Avira disappear and I can't open them. I performed a restoration to two different earlier points which failed.

I reinstalled all these programs which seem to be working again, but every time I start up slowly, the infamous window appears. One or more of the above programs may disappear again... For now, that’s no longer the case.

My version of nvcpl.dll is 817139931 and I haven't found the equivalent except for version 8.17.13.9836 which seems to correspond.

How do I replace the file in Sys32? By simply copying it?

    Also check the drivers for your graphics card!

    Thank you for this quick response. I have already done all the checks, drivers, etc. No viruses or other bugs of that kind. I am looking for an equivalent to the application I had. I think it’s enough to just copy and paste after removing the old application? Thank you for the advice!

    Thank you for this response, but I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the NVidia card driver. A scan tells me that the card is functioning well. Have a great weekend.

    Hello,

    I still have the same problem that hasn't improved with the reinstallation of NV. The small window appears at every startup. Thanks to everyone.
