Hello everyone,
I have a problem with One Drive, as the icon on the cloud shows an exclamation mark.
When I click on view sync problems, I get a message: Problem - unable to upload or download files because Windows needs to be updated. I have Windows 8.1 and Windows update tells me that I am up to date!
Sync is grayed out and not active.
I don't know what to do and my skills are limited. By going through Office 365 then One Drive, syncing works well with my smartphone. If anyone can help me. Best regards,

It seems that unfortunately, OneDrive for PC is no longer supported for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.
You now need to go through the website or upgrade Windows.
If you mistakenly put files in the OneDrive folder, beware: they likely haven't been uploaded to the cloud and therefore only exist on the affected computer! -
Good evening sangen48,
Thank you for your response. I will therefore use OneDrive through the internet for the remaining months of Windows 8.1, which suits me very well given my usage. They could have waited!
