Hello, I gifted the Bernette Chicago 7 embroidery machine to my mother.
She wants to convert an image taken from the internet so that she can use it on her machine. How can she do this? Is there a specific format required? Does she need a USB stick of the same brand or a maximum number of gigabytes? Does she need to download or purchase specific software for the Bernette?

Thank you all.

    Hello

I think we need to start by educating ourselves a bit about this machine and mastering the situation. It's probably easier for people familiar with this activity.

Here is the "Embroidery" manual https://www.bernette.com/assets/uploads/general/Downloads/Embroidery-Book/Chicago/FR/502020.90.13_2014_06_Chicago_5_7_Emb_FR.pdf

The concept of a USB key is addressed on page 23.
