I have an online ad. What is the purpose of boosting it, please? It is a paid service. What difference does it make?

    Hello
    boosting means that the ad will be published on platforms other than the marketplace and can therefore potentially be read by even more people
    the price is calculated based on the duration and the number of sites where the ad will be visible
    this service will be charged starting at 1 euro for 3 days or more sites but still 3 days
    it's clearly indicated when you click on boost
    but be careful, on the marketplace there is no online payment (like on leboncoin or priceminister)
    so you will have to limit your sales to local purchases, when people can come to pick up the item directly with cash payment; or at worst payment via PayPal with the necessary precautions

    I don't know, I never boost,
    there's all of Facebook for sure (in addition to the marketplace)
    but it usually sells quickly in general and without boosting when the price is reasonable.
    If it doesn't sell, it's because the price is too high, or the product is very specific and doesn't appeal to everyone,
    for example, size 42 pants or a size 3 shirt...
