Install Adobe Printer

Hello everyone,

I’m using Windows 11 and the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
I would like to install Adobe as a PDF printer, but I'm having trouble doing so.
I didn't find anything on the forum (maybe I searched incorrectly), so I went directly to look for the tutorial on Adobe's website:

After trying step 1, I'm stuck on step 2 point No. 5 since the dropdown menu doesn’t offer me:

Use an existing port: Document\.*PDF (Adobe PDF)

Can someone guide me, thank you in advance.

    If that works for you:
    Windows 11 natively offers the PDF printer.

    Thank you for your responsiveness and your reply,

    I do indeed have Microsoft Print to PDF natively, but I have been using Adobe to print for a long time and I would like to know if it is possible to do the same with Win11.

    Hello,

    Adobe no longer provides a PDF printer with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (the one you are using).

    The advice you found pertains to Adobe Acrobat (the full version that is not free).
    It's normal that it doesn't work!

    Similarly, Foxit Reader no longer provides a PDF printer.

    So you are left with Microsoft's option: Microsoft Print to PDF.

    You can also install PDF Creator, which should provide a PDF printer.
