Hello,
I'm using an HP Color Laser MFP178nw. No problem printing from a tablet or phone, and no problem from a Windows PC either.
However, I can't print from an ACER Chromebook? The Chromebook can see the printer (it's in the list). If I type the IP address of the printer in Chrome on the Chromebook, I get all the information (printer name, usage, status, print queue, etc.). However, when I print a file, it appears in the queue, then it says "completed" but in reality, nothing has been printed?
I should mention that when I added the printer and selected HP as the manufacturer, I couldn't find my exact printer model. I chose a "Color Laserjet"... I had to pick one...
What’s going wrong, please?
Thank you.
Configuration: Chrome OS / Chrome 99.0.4844.94

Hello,
Actually, I did see that. But I also saw that it was possible to print from a phone, an iPhone, etc.
And in practice, it does work very well, and that's how I tested the printer upon its arrival (the Chromebook arrived later).
However, I remain surprised that the recent version of Chrome OS does not manage what even an older Android does...?
I am looking for an alternative, a workaround, but so far without success.
Any suggestions are welcome ;-)
Thanks anyway.
