To remove the print head on my Canon Pixma MG 5650, what maneuvers do I need to perform to bring the head to the replacement position?
Thank you to anyone who can let me know.

Hello!
Thank you for your response. But it's not true that only the ink cartridges are removable. The print head is also removable, but to take it out, you have to bring it to a unique position where you can pull the latch that locks the head on its carriage. This position is close to the one the carriage normally takes to change the cartridges, but does not coincide exactly. In my case, the carriage gets completely stuck on the left when I lift the lid; this makes me think that the print head is shot and needs to be replaced. My problem is getting it into the removal position; to do that, there must be a maneuver to perform on the buttons, but I don't know which one.

Best regards

Dear furry friend, I suppose you have found a solution since 2022. For those who might come across this thread, I specify that the cartridge holder can be completely mobilized by disconnecting the printer (after opening the lid and allowing the cartridge rack to position itself).

Hello
lift the scanner lid and fully raise it. You will then see the cartridges position themselves, allowing you to remove them easily.
The cartridges are removable but not the heads
that said, don't kid yourself, you might be able to clean the nozzles, but if you're still having problems, it is more cost-effective to change printers.

a tutorial here

read carefully until the end, as it specifies, no need to disassemble everything
