Hello,
I wanted to know how many songs approximately fit into 1GB of music.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hmm, I did some research on the matter and for 1GB of music, regardless of the length of the different songs, you will have around 11 hours and 20 minutes of music (well, between 11 hours and 20 minutes and 11 hours and 30 minutes).
And personally, to fill 1GB, I had exactly 186 different tracks (with an average duration of 4 minutes and 20 seconds per song).
I hope this helps clarify things for you ;)

Well it's not complicated, you multiply 186 by 8!!! -_-'

It is important to note that depending on the encoding of the music, it can vary significantly:
- With low-quality encoding (96 kBits/s), a song X might weigh 2 MB (So about 500 songs per GB)
- With average encoding (196 kBits/s) (the most viable encoding for most in-ear headphones and mid-range to high-quality audio headsets), the same song X will weigh about 5 MB (So about 200 songs per GB)
- With high-quality encoding (320 kBits/s) (the most viable encoding for high-end audio headsets, but not professional), the same song X will weigh about 10 MB (so about 100 songs per GB)
- With studio-quality encoding (here, it's no longer a sound at 44100 Hz like on a CD, but a much higher quality, exceeding 500 kBits/s), the same song X will probably weigh more than 15 MB, resulting in less than 65 songs per GB.
