Hello everyone, I cloned my 250 GB SSD to a 480 GB SSD using the HDClone software.
The 250 GB SSD was in the PC while the 480 GB was external, and everything went smoothly until then.
I made the swap with the PC turned off as a precaution, then I plugged it back in and turned it on, and that's when things went wrong: no operating system, a window indicates that winload.exe is missing.
I tried various repairs, both with a Windows CD and via CMD with chkdsk and diskpart, with no results.
I turn to you to ask this question: If I do a new installation of Windows, will it be possible for me to restore from an image of my old system?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
You need to use EaseUS Disk Copy... https://www.easeus.fr/cloner-disque-dur/transferer-donnees-de-disque-dur-interne-a-un-autre.html or AOMEI Backupper Standard... https://www.aomei.fr/download.html#ab
HDClone is more intended for cloning movies but not for hard drives.

Hello, I’ve used it several times without issues, maybe it doesn't support transfers from SSD to SSD.
