Hello,
I ordered and received this SSD https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01N6JQS8C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for my Acer, but it doesn't fit in the laptop, even after removing its external case. Even with an external USB cable via another PC, it's not recognized?
Will this one work: https://www.amazon.fr/Integral-2280-PCIe-Gen3x4-NVMe/dp/B07YBMTRLJ/ref=sr_1_8?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=7WQEXN59CTIZ&keywords=ssd+128+Go+pour+acer+aspire+A517+51G+86EX&qid=1645197869&sprefix=ssd+128+go+pour+acer+aspire+a517+51g+86ex%2Caps%2C141&sr=8-8? Thank you!

Hello
according to what I found, you need an M.2 SATA SSD and not a PCIe NVMe
but it's strange that the 2.5-inch SATA SSD doesn't fit instead of the hard drive ??

Instead of the HDD, it shows "no boot device"! It doesn't fit because it's orientated widthwise, and I need a model oriented lengthwise like the "integral" model!
I couldn't fix it with diskpart; maybe I damaged it when I removed its external casing! In disk management, I only see the name of the USB cable "sabrent"!
Maybe this one works differently!THIS ONE instead?> -

Ok, as you said, instead of the HDD, it fits in there, it appears in the BIOS, but I cannot go into the boot menu to set my USB drive to start first for the Windows installation, and it gives the message no device! I am surprised by this too? Basically, in the BIOS, I can only access the general tab, not the others!
Or can a PC with an M.2 SATA port only boot with an SSD in its port??? -

Battery of the BIOS replaced, new, still the same for the BIOS, stuck on the information tab, no way to advance with the tab keys! I thought that resetting it would have unlocked it! So is the motherboard really dead?

Re,
In fact, one key was stuck, the FN key, I unlocked it, there was a piece of cardboard stuck between its ribbon, put there by the repairman, so I was able to tab in the BIOS, then boot, set it to legacy to display the boot order, then install Windows on the SSD in MBR, it wouldn't take GPT!
