Question

Hello,
My internet connection keeps disconnecting and reconnecting a few seconds later, automatically at any time of day.

I switched to Free (with fiber), and with my previous provider, I had the same kind of problem but much less frequently (only when I was downloading something, for example), unlike Free, which cuts out AT LEAST 5 times in the evening for no apparent reason.
I'm connected via an Ethernet cable, which I bought not long ago.

It's not easy to stream on Twitch with interruptions like this...

The disconnections only happen on my PC and not on other devices.
I suspect the issue lies either with the provider, the cable, or my PC.

What's strange is that I'm the only one facing this kind of problem at home; my brother has the same cable, and he hasn't had any disconnections.

I also unchecked the option for my network adapter to disconnect automatically to save power, and there's been no change.

I'm not knowledgeable at all in this area; should I change the cable? Is it FREE that's messing up?

I really need help; this is really horrible, PLEASE ????

Hi  I'm connected via ethernet cable  directly from the router to the PC or through powerline adapters?  What's strange is that I am the only one experiencing this kind of problem at home, my brother has the same cable and there hasn't been any disconnection  have you tested with your brother's cable to see if the problem is the same?  do this:  1) in search, type DXDIAG and click Open  give me the info that I highlighted in my screenshot    2) right-click on Start --> Device Manager  post 1 screenshot of your Device Manager via Cjoint --> click here  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment center than at Chernobyl
