Hello,
See the response I gave here:

There are hundreds of similar cases on the site, all leading to the same conclusions.....

Hello, I'm reaching out because I've just gone through the same thing as you. I'm right in the middle of it. I'm really worried. I've read on the forums, and the reviews are rather mixed about whether they actually follow through...
As for my little story, I was chatting with a woman on a dating site where we moved to Skype, a webcam started, and what happened happened, and once she had the images she wanted, I received a list of my Facebook friends displayed with a ransom demand. I think that's the most classic scenario... I refused to pay and cut all contact with them. It's only been 24 hours, but so far no news. It's very recent, but I'm extremely stressed. Do you have any information on this subject? Thank you.

Hello
You won't get any other answers than the one already given here.
I don't know which forum you might have seen differing opinions... but on ccm, we're all unanimous.
Yes, I know. Forums generally agree on this topic, but when we look at the websites discussing sex, twisting, or testimonials, it’s really frightening. And I’m very worried. I even saw that online there is a service and a company that offers online monitoring for the internet and social networks to detect a video being posted and to be able to remove it. The company is called SOS Webcam Scam. Have you heard of this company located in Paris? If so, what is your opinion on it?
Re:
A company in E-Reputation that's making money off the 'imprudent' internet users who are terrified...
As for a possible 'quick deletion', in any case, that seems a bit utopian... And that only concerns 'websites' and not your 'contacts'.
For the latter, invent them a horrific story about a 'virus' contained in a possible correspondence from a stranger regarding you.
Keep your money and play it cool.
In the vast majority of cases, the scammer is not going to waste their precious time posting the exploits of their defiant pigeons...
And for pity's sake, be cautious on the Net which is infested with all kinds of scammers...
Cover the lens of your Webcam (using gaffer tape). The best would be to unplug the thing to avoid possible 'spying'...
See you!

Hello, I am a journalist and for an investigation, I am looking for people who would be willing to share their sextortion experiences, especially to help potential future victims know how to react. Would you be willing to speak out (anonymity possible)? Thank you in advance!
Hello,
A response has already been given to you here =>

Furthermore, the CCM charter states that calls for testimony and others... are linked to a specific agreement
=>
Survey / Call for witnesses / Petition
The CommentCaMarche.net site is not intended to serve as a support for potential surveys, calls for witnesses for third-party companies, or petitions; therefore, any message in this regard will be removed. However, a prior request can be submitted to the webmasters and/or the community manager of the site and will be considered in the interest of all.

Honestly... I can't tell you anything... I was a victim of sextortion a few hours ago... I had taken some photos when I was younger, and they ended up in the hands of this scammer who blackmailed me... I blocked him everywhere... maybe there are photos of me all over... I don't know... I'm wondering if the platforms he threatened me on really took my requests into account...
Anyway, let's not talk about me, know that I support you... let's see how we both move forward if you want...
