SSD with Windows on a new motherboard

Hello, I'm currently looking for an answer to whether I can transfer the SSD with Windows and games to a new motherboard. I've already received some responses, such as emptying the SSD, or trying to just see if it works, or even formatting it.
Has anyone ever had this problem and could give me an answer?

    There are as many answers as there are pairs (old hardware, new hardware).

    So it may work, or it may not. It needs to be tested. However, since Windows 10, it tends to work more often than with previous versions of Windows. In case of an anomaly, we can first try a Windows repair. If that doesn't work, a complete reinstallation of Windows and the software will be necessary.

    Another issue to consider when changing the motherboard is that it should deactivate the Windows license since it is linked to the original configuration.

    I will give the same answer that I have been giving for a while. Until Windows 7; when changing the motherboard, we had to reinstall everything. With Windows 10, that's no longer the case. We can use it even from another PC. Of course, backing up your data is a precaution that can't hurt. It should be noted that the first startup after changing the motherboard will not be instantaneous. It takes a little time for things to settle in. Difficulties are possible. Recent motherboards are in UEFI mode by default, with GPT partition tables. If the SSD comes from an old PC that is in Legacy mode, with an MBR partition table, it will not boot. However, there is the possibility of going into the BIOS to switch from UEFI mode to Legacy mode.
