I have a Gigaset A635A Duo phone and I can't manage to set up the internal answering machine; it remains configured for the external answering machine....

    Your answering machine is poorly programmed.
    Change the number of rings or the duration before it activates.
    Operators, by default, activate their voicemail after 5 rings (20 seconds).
    Your answering machine should activate sooner...
    A good setting is therefore after 4 rings or 18 seconds.
