RAM stuck at 2133 MHz

Hello
I got a PC almost a year ago and I've just realized that in my BIOS my 3200 MHz RAM is running at 2133 MHz even though I activated XMP II.
However, my motherboard and RAM are compatible.
Do I really need to overclock my RAM to achieve 3200 MHz?
How can I fix this issue?
