Hello,
I'm reaching out to the Word enthusiasts with a question that earned me some disdainful remarks from a "Word teacher."
I still haven't been able to get a satisfactory answer... :
In a Word document with 5 numbered chapters, I want what I write in chapter No. 2 to be written simultaneously in chapter No. 4, for example.
How can I do that?
Thank you and happy new year to everyone.

Hello.
Unfortunately, your "Word teacher" was right!
When you draw a group, does the hat you add to one character also appear on another character's head at the same time?
When you seal an envelope, does the other envelope seal at the same time?
When you put on a sock, is the other one put on at the same time?
It's the same thing.
That said, and if you have the courage, study the blog faqword.com by m@rina, to try to juggle with fields and QuickPart components...

Good evening
There are several well-described solutions here on faqword for repeating text in a Word document: https://www.faqword.com/index.php/word/130-references/261
According to the description, to repeat text that I imagine having several paragraphs, I think that inserting a bookmark with a reference might be the most suitable solution, although bookmarks are not very practical. However, it will not be automatic; the reference field must be updated with F9 after selection.
There is also the solution of copying and pasting with a link. For example, copy the first blank paragraph from chapter 1 and paste it with a link in chapter 5. Text entered in chapter 1 will be reflected in chapter 5.
The solution depends on the use of the document

Hello and thank you for the response,
I thought it was possible when seeing this action in the PDF files of the administration where fields intended for the same training are filled in at the same time as the first field with the said information is completed.
I thought it was a macro.
Thank you!
Best regards,
David
