Hello, I’d like some advice because for a few hours I’ve been wondering: how can we operate this alarm clock using only batteries without plugging it in? Because when I put in the batteries without the power connection, the radio alarm clock doesn’t respond!

No…
The batteries are used only to save the clock and also when an alarm is programmed (in case of a power outage during sleep...).
