No sound from ASUS screen

Hello,

I bought an ASUS VA27EHE 27" PC to play on the PS4, but there’s no sound coming out (I only saw afterwards that it doesn’t have internal speakers).

I tried using speakers (via adapter -> https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B09159H57M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but with no results.

This PC only has one HDMI port (PS4) and VGA.

Is there a connection problem, or is it impossible to output sound with this PC?

Thank you in advance for your help

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 96.0.4664.93

    Hello,
You mentioned... "I bought an ASUS VA27EHE 27" monitor to play on the PS4, but there's no sound..."
It's not a computer but just an Asus monitor... https://www.asus.com/fr/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/Eye-Care/VA27EHE/
Click on the "technical specifications" to view the different I/O ports.

Yes, sorry, I misspoke. It is indeed a single screen.

    Excerpt of features
    https://www.asus.com/fr/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/Eye-Care/VA27EHE/techspec/
    Audio functions
    Speaker No
    Audio settings mode On/Off
    Woofer Off

It is therefore normal that there is no sound... since there are no speakers in this screen.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it isn't there...

And it is therefore impossible to connect speakers to the screen?

The screen does not, unless I'm mistaken, have a headphone output.
The speakers need to be connected to the audio output of the PS4...
Presumably, the PS4 has an optical audio output.
If your speakers have an optical input, a simple optical cable will be the solution.
Otherwise, you will need to add a digital optical to RCA or headphone converter.
