Send an SMS message from Alexa

I wanted to know if there is a possibility to send a text message from Alexa. I know that it apparently is possible, but I don't know if it's possible to send a text message from Alexa, whether by phone or Echo. If not, that's okay.

    Hello.
    Having Alexa, I just browsed the app and we can't send SMS, just messages that will be received and read on an Alexa speaker.

    But it seems to me that in the USA, this feature is available, not in France.

    First, you need to send a message from the Alexa app, Conversation tab, or from the Alexa speaker if the recipient is set up in the app.

    Second, the message arrives on the Alexa speaker, which will flash yellow.

    Third, ask Alexa: Alexa, what is the message. (Be attentive because if the message is short, it will be very quick.)
