How to delete messages on Messenger that won't send

Hello,

I have message sending failures on Messenger for several people…. How do I delete them? Thank you

    Hello,
    Press and hold your finger on the message you want to delete, the bubble will become a bit darker and you will see the "delete" button appear at the bottom of your screen

    Tap on it and choose "remove"

      I have the same problem except that it doesn't give me the option to delete

      I have tried everything but nothing works

      It only gives me the option to copy
