Hello,
Since the Thunderbird update, version 91.3.0, I find that on opening, I get the tabs of messages that I had already closed before quitting Thunderbird.
Moreover, when I open other messages in the tabs and do not close them, I do not find them when restarting Thunderbird, but always the old and same ones at each opening.
In short, I keep finding the same tabs.
Is there a solution to remedy this?
Thank you
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 95.0.4638.54

One thing you could try is deleting (or rather renaming) the xulstore.json and session.json files. They will be recreated the next time Thunderbird starts.
To do this:
1/ Completely quit Thunderbird.
2/ Go to the profile folder.
3/ Rename xulstore.json to xulstore.json.old and session.json to session.json.old.
4/ Restart Thunderbird.

Hello, where can I find the profile folder (I'm on Linux Mint without knowing Linux, just a simple user)? Also, I can't connect to Gmail on this account... I'm going through Google, and I've tried deleting Gmail from Thunderbird to go back to it... now I can't connect; it absolutely refuses my email address... I'm panicking (I'm 72 and technology isn't my cup of tea). Thank you for your response.
Moreover, it seems that the solution doesn't address my problem... when I open Thunderbird, I don't find myself on the messages tab but on the settings tab.
