Unable to install Firefox on my tablet

Hello

I used Firefox with complete satisfaction but I had to "reformat my tablet" and thus lost some software that I was using.
Now it is impossible for me to re-install Firefox on this SAMSUNG GT P5210 tablet - I get the message:
"This browser is no longer compatible - Please use the Google Play store app"
AND when I browse the Google Play store I only see Google products and definitely not Firefox!!!
Do you have a solution?? Is my tablet obsolete?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello,

You need at least Android 5 to install Firefox on your tablet and unfortunately the latest version of Android supported by your device is 4.4.2.
So we can say that it is obsolete.
But you can install an older version

My problem is that when I click on the link you gave me, I arrive at a website in English... and at 76 years old, my English is distant and APK???
I will change my tablet. The store where I inquired recommends a Lenovo tablet, what do you think??
Thank you for giving me your opinion.
Best regards.

I don't know much about this tablet brand. So I wouldn't be able to advise you.

Best regards.

Hello, for Android version 4.4.2.
it is better to download an older
version of Firefox, specifically 68.02
That should be enough and do not update this version
I personally have a Galaxy Tab 2.
And don't forget, what matters is not the container but
the content.

Thank you for your response, I suspected a bit that my tablet had become obsolete. I will write to Santa Claus...
Have a nice day
