Good evening,
In a quick analysis, Windows Defender has just detected a threat titled "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml" located in a subfolder of the software "Adobe Audition 2018" that I downloaded from the internet. Since I have had this software for a few years (transferred from my old PC) and I haven't had any warnings, I immediately thought it might be a false positive, but I'm not sure, especially since my PC has been experiencing anomalies lately, such as freezing for a few seconds, etc. (It may not be related, but the correlation is quickly made.) For now, the file is in quarantine waiting for my action, but I'm not sure that my PC is fully protected and that simply deleting it will completely remove it.
If someone could help me.
Thank you,
Sabine

Hello,
Download FRST and once downloaded save it on the desktop, then open it and you will see this:
Click on Scan, at the end of the scan you will have two text files on the desktop FRST and Addition, .
Be careful to wait for the messages saying that the scan is complete to appear, then send these reports to https://www.cjoint.com/ see this tutorial then provide the two links generated by Cjoint in your next message.
