Hello everyone! :)
I recently placed an order on an Asian online store (which I visit more or less regularly), and yesterday, when the seller gave me the tracking number, I noticed something strange.
First of all, the package number appears as follows: "LV*******CN".
I know that CN stands for China, but LV??
The number is obviously not recognized by 17TRACK (that would be too easy :) )
When I received the shipping notification, it indicated that the shipping method is as follows: "P491," which is unknown to me.
I'm open to any help!
Have a good day and thank you in advance!

Hello,
apparently there is nothing unusual in your tracking, you're worrying for nothing, what more do you want us to tell you that you don't already know? For package tracking, it's not on a tech support forum that you should look for information, it's better to address the sender of the package or the company in charge of its delivery; they alone can provide you with accurate information.

Hello
A # starting with L.. would be a type of unsigned discount (Based on my experience..)
CN is indeed China..
Patience, it's not always quick..
See you+

Hello and thank you for your quick response!
That seemed the most accurate to me as well. However, what surprises me is the coding. I've never had "LV" as the first letter in the many years I've been ordering.
I thought the letter after the L corresponded to a type of delivery. LL for air, LC for boat, etc...
And the delivery method intrigues me the most! "p491", I know Epacket, but "p491"

Re:
I just looked at my E-orders tracking sheet 'China'..
I received some LL (9 digits) CN, some LZ (9 digits) CN, some LO (9 digits) CN, some LVS with a lot of digits. So why not an LV?
As for P491, I've never seen it and found nothing on the subject. But there are hundreds of 'carriers' in the market.. Some 'big' and some 'small'..
Wait for the package to be scanned upon its entry into the Postal Network to track it (17Track, Parcelsapp, Packageradar are among the best tools..). The tracking number is assigned to the sender before their package is handed over to the local Post Office (or to the carrier). Sometimes it takes a while to show up on tracking tools!
Good luck!
See you!

It’s already done but no reply, I was hoping to at least get some help on the type of shipment.
I did some research and found absolutely nothing, the method called “p491” is unknown!
Thank you anyway for your some advice!
