Hello,
I have had a Samsung Galaxy J6 mobile phone for a few years now.
And for almost a year (approximately), my microphone has not been working.
It doesn’t work when I call, when I use applications, and so on. When I call, I can hear others, but they can’t hear me; however, when I use earphones or a headset with a microphone, it works. I would like to know if I can fix this problem myself or if I should see someone in particular who can resolve my issue, because apart from the fact that I have little space on my phone, this microphone problem is one of the main reasons I want to change my phone.
Thank you in advance, Ava.
Configuration: Android / Chrome 92.0.4515.131

Good evening,
I would say that your internal microphone is dead... especially if the phone works with the headset microphone...
However, if you frequently connect and disconnect this headset, it's possible that the 3.5mm jack is at fault... you can try cleaning it, for example with a toothpick, and remove the dirt that has built up inside...
If you want to intervene yourself to change the internal mic... it's better to be sure of the defect before opening it, and also to have the spare part...
As for whether you are capable of doing this on your own, we have no idea; we would need to know you and your skills... Let's say that this job is quite meticulous.
