The touch screen and some buttons are no longer working.

Hello :),

I have a big problem with my 3DS XL. It was working a few days ago, but I noticed that yesterday the touch screen, the buttons (L, R, the D-pad, and the joystick) are not working anymore.

    Good evening, for the touch screen, the operation will take more than an hour: take apart your 3DS XL and check if the ribbon cable is disconnected. If that's the case, reconnect it; if not, replace the touch screen;
    For the joystick, it's nothing more simple: the ribbon cable is disconnected. For it to work again, you need to reconnect the ribbon cable, or the joystick is defective, replace it for it to work properly;
    For the L and R buttons, it gets trickier. The triggers (or I can't remember what they're called) are defective or unsoldered. You will definitely need a soldering iron to resolder/replace these triggers;
    And for the D-pad, I think the problem comes from the rubber. Take apart your 3DS XL and check if the rubber is in good condition. If so, I can't really help you except to replace the D-pad. If not, you need to replace the rubber.
