Configuration: Android / Chrome 91.0.4472.120
This afternoon (around 5 PM), I went to the Mavanime website to watch MHA (My Hero Academia). I typed in the search bar to look for season 4 of MHA, but it redirected me to a site that’s not really kid-friendly (I freaked out because I'm only 11). I tried several times to go back to the search bar (thinking it would go away), and after about the 4th or 5th time, I got a warning on my phone approximately saying:

YOUR GENERIC ANDROID IS INFECTED WITH A VIRUS BLABLABLABLABLA FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BLABLABLABLABLA
LEAVE THIS PAGE AT YOUR OWN RISK
After clicking "OK," I was redirected to a page that said:

There are (2) viruses on your Android
Follow the instructions to get rid of the virus/es
1. Click the link (I’m not sure if it was a link, but I had to click on something)
2. Install the application that will help get rid of the viruses
I am in TOTAL stress.
I told my dad, and he said, "It's all good" (he didn’t even touch my phone lol).
So can you please enlighten me a bit? I’m young, so I don’t know what to do...

Hello,
Your father is right: it's not a webpage that's going to be able to detect if there are viruses on your phone ;)
However, in my opinion, you should clean your browser (history, cache, etc.)
