Hello everyone.
I am working on a project in VB2017 for my children. I'm not very skilled. This project consists only of Windows Forms. When I start debugging or building, I get the following message.
bin\Debug\apprenons.exe.manifest;bin\Debug\WindowsApplication1.exe.manifest;bin\Debug\WindowsApplication1.vshost.exe.manifest;obj\Debug\apprenons.exe.manifest;obj\Debug\WindowsApplication1.exe.manifest;publish\Application Files\WindowsApplication1_1_0_0_0\WindowsApplication1.exe.manifest is not a valid value for the "InputManifest" parameter of the "GenerateApplicationManifest" task. Unable to pass multiple items into a parameter of type "Microsoft.Build.Framework.ITaskItem".

It's long and I don't understand anything. If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

    Hello

    Without guarantee
Shut down Visual Studio, delete everything in the obj and bin directories, making sure to back up external files if needed.
In this case, after deleting the rest, restore them.
Launch Visual Studio and click "Rebuild the project."

So this is what I do all the time (if you can, if this message keeps coming back, reinstall Visual Studio, I had to do that but I think it's not necessary. So, if you care about this project and you've been working on it for a long time, take screenshots or note this down in Notepad or somewhere else.) I delete the project and recreate it. I know it doesn't make you want to do it again but it's up to you. Otherwise, as Whismeril said:

I hope you no longer have this problem.
