What software replaces Webplus X7?

Hello,
A few years ago, I created a website using the Sherif WebPlus 7 software.
I would like to make some modifications, but I've just seen that it's no longer being distributed.
What other software, available for purchase with a license and not on a monthly rental basis, could replace this?
A software that would allow me to transfer the site and edit it on my computer before putting it back online.
My site is hosted on OVH with a domain name.
(for your information, it’s a rental property site)
Thank you for your help

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 90.0.4430.212

Hello,

This kind of software is no longer used these days, and I doubt you'll really find an equivalent...
In general, the generated code is not great, and people prefer to code the site themselves, use platforms like Wix, or use CMS.

However, it seems you can still find it here:

Thank you #jordane45
I still have the software thank you, but I would like to migrate to another software that is more up to date, with the right features.
I prefer not to go through platforms, the cost seems high to me.
I update my site once every year or even every two years, so there's no need to pay every month for nothing.
If you ever have any ideas?
thank you

Hi,

Are you not paying for the hosting and domain name for your site?

Hello,
I pay for hosting and domain name at OVH annually.

In that case, I would recommend switching to a turnkey solution like WordPress.

It will require work to rebuild the site on it and get used to the tool, but it will be much better than tinkering with this kind of software that hasn't been updated in a long time and has never been a good way to design a website.

Is the site large? A lot of pages?

If it's not confidential, you can post the link here so we can get an idea.

Yes, there are quite a few pages and photos, I think.
Here is the site http://www.studio-roubaix.fr/

Can I transfer my site to Wordpress or do I have to redo everything?

Do I need to change my domain name? The website's internet address? Should I continue with OVH to keep the domain?
Thank you

EDIT: Link correction

Hello,
You'll have to redo everything. You can't "import" a hand-coded site into a CMS...
Anyway, considering how outdated the site is and that it no longer meets current internet standards, it's better to start from scratch. Whether in terms of "graphics/design/usability" or "code" in the strict sense.

Sure. I'm going to check out WordPress
With a subscription of 8€, is that enough?
How long can I take to redo my site?
Do I start by redoing my site as a "draft" and then ask WordPress to take over the domain name and install my draft online?
Thanks

I didn't explain myself well. Since you already have hosting and a domain name, you need to download WordPress here:

https://wordpress.org/download/#download-install

And install it for now in a new subdirectory of the site, http://www.studio-roubaix.fr/newsite for example.

As for the time, it depends on how quickly you learn. For example, it would take me a day or two, not counting the time to determine the new design. But then again, I work regularly with WordPress.

Otherwise, there's the option of hiring a professional who will handle the transition and hand over the keys once finished.

I feel like I'm going to spend a good month on this :-)
I downloaded what you told me, but I don't see how to install it on my website
I signed up for WordPress and it keeps asking me questions...
Would it be a good idea to ask to associate my domain without changing the registrar?
Does that give me time to build a new site on WordPress and launch it on my domain name when it's finished?
Or is there another solution that I haven't understood?
Thank you

I happen to stumble upon this topic that is a bit old...

It's true that the code from http://www.studio-roubaix.fr/ does not meet current website standards, and it is not responsive, but there's no need for a bureaucratic system like WordPress to redo a site as simple as yours; there is a very good, user-friendly French CMS DeltaCMS: https://deltacms.fr/

The issue is that what I initially proposed is a bit technical and potentially dangerous for the existing site's data.

So before anything else, back up the existing site using FTP access and verify that the backup is successful by installing it locally:
