Hello,
I bought https://www.materiel.net/produit/201906050011.html?offerId=AR201906050011 to replace my other hard drive that is about to fail. It's meant to be used as a secondary hard drive, but I would like to know if a drive designed for NAS would be compatible with Windows. I store a lot of very large VR games as well as videos that I record, plus Steam games.

Hello
A hard drive is a hard drive, so the answer is yes, no problem.
Even though a hard drive for NAS is generally more durable and made for a NAS, which makes it significantly more expensive.
Beware of 7200 RPM drives as they are often noisier.
For the rest, if the goal is to protect yourself from data loss, a good hard drive will never be worth a real NAS in RAID (the principle of data duplication). No drive is immune to a sudden and definitive failure.
Best regards
